“ We found this place on Isla Mujeres when we went looking for authentic paletas, popsicles, and ice cream. The service was so good very friendly lots of samples and so many options all crafted on site. It was hard to choose we got guava paletas and passion fruit ones as well. Well priced too!! Really sad we didn’t have more time would have had ice cream as well as it was also very delicious. ”

The owner truly cares about his craft and his product and unique flavors show. Also important is it is AIR CONDITIONED inside to cool off and refresh. And I also love that they have beer and drinks for the adults to enjoy while the kids get their ice cream fix. Oh and they treat the kids really well too! ”

Family friendly place to hang out they have music & Adult drinks I had the Ghost Water and my hubby had the Passion Tropic definitely did the job the strawberry water based paleta is the best hands down and their Tapatio Roman is AMAZING I came back everyday for it. Super clean friendly bilingual staff thanks guys ! Definitely coming back everyday visit !. ”
“ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Tropic Ice Cream on Isla Mujeres. Manager, Oscar, is from San Antonio . One of the best coconut ice creams I have ever had in Quintana Roo/Cancun/Cozumel/Playa... I’ve tried a few other places here now and I seriously consider Tropical to be the best both in portion and quality. Super creamy and great mouthfeel. In February 2025, two scoops (see photo) was only 100 pesos. ”
